Southlands Nursery is a hidden gem in the village of Wolstanton, Newcastle-under-Lyme. We are a small, family-run business, providing a home-from-home experience in caring, stimulating, and enriching environments for children aged 0 to 5 years of age.

Set over two wonderful locations, our children have all they need to develop their bright minds for their bright futures.

Founded in 1989, Southlands Nursery enjoys an excellent and unparalleled reputation at both our Creche and Kindergarten.

Absolutely amazing all staff are very friendly, approachable, informative and supportive. Our little boy has come on leaps and bounds since being at the nursery. They take the children out daily for walks, weekly swimming sessions and other activities. The learning activities on site are second to none. Our daughter loves her time at the nursery and that's all thanks to the hardworking staff. They keep us informed about any concerns they have for example if they think your child is unwell. There is good communication and I have never felt that I cannot ring if I have been worried about leaving my little one, especially at the start! Our daughter has settled in very well and I have peace of mind knowing she is being well looked after.

Southlands is such a lovely family orientated childcare setting. It is a home from home for all the children. The ladies are all great and my daughter really enjoys herself. Soutjlands goes above and beyond to entertain and look after the children taking then on day trips, swimming walks and the children spend endless amount of time in the lovely garden.

Fantastic, friendly and lovely staff at both the Nursery and Kindergarten, both my sons are currently at the Nursery and Kindergarten, both love going and myself and my wife could not be happier with all the staff and the owner. The kindergarten exceeds all expectations ,it provides excellent educational facilities , the staff are excellent with the children , they provide a loving fun place where they can learn play and enjoy themselves and grow into their own little personalities an amazing kindergarten , well done to the manager and her amazing team .

Safety and Peace of Mind

At Southlands Kindergarten, the safety and wellbeing of every child is at the heart of what we do. Both our Crèche and Kindergarten are equipped with a LifeVac and a defibrillator, giving parents complete peace of mind that we’re ready for any emergency, however unlikely.

Our teams are fully trained and confident in using this equipment – part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care, safety, and peace of mind for every child in our care.
